It seems homebuilders get a kick out of placing deck sliders just high enough so it is dangerous. This client was already tired of pole vaulting out the back door so we designed a large radius step to provide a large landing.

The wife was a bit of a green thumb and came up with the idea to integrate planters into the design. This was already a large patio and the planters all seemed too bulky so we came with the idea of making the end caps into planters.

These stairs and walls were all rotten and housing critters when we got here. The old timbers were hauled away and this is what we replaced it with. The walls and steps are made of Versa-Lok Standard Block and the columns are capped with Limestone.

This beautiful paver walkway/patio replaced a simple concrete walk and added considerable appeal to this front yard. There was a downspout that needed to be tunneled under the walkway and exited through a pop-up emitter in the yard. The existing step was in good shape so we attached pavers and bullnose treads to match the brick walk and brick veneer on the home.

This project in Cottage Grove includes paver lights, a seating wall and wide pedestal steps leading to the back slider.
